Linear centralise feedback with Customer Requests
Never lose feedback ever again
Linear’s Customer Requests / linear.com
"I remember a customer asked for this, but I can't find it. Can you check your emails, Zendesk, and Slack?", said every PM ever.
Linear have released a new feature called Customer Requests to address this specific pain point.
Where on Earth is this feedback?
Losing precious customer feedback is a dramatic affair. Simply awful. Unfortunately, PMs tend to deal with so many tools across so many teams (and customer interactions) that losing feedback is extremely common.
With Customer Requests, Linear enable PMs to:
Create a central repository of all customer feedback.
Easily send and track feedback across the customer base.
Filter requests based on customer size, revenue, etc.
Keep context of the original request as the feature progresses through the process.
"As a PM, this gives me confidence that I'm prioritising the features that our most important customers actually need," says Sagan from Linear's product team.
Playing catch up
If this feature sounds familiar, it's because it's a stable of most product management tools:
Productboard have a similar feature with their Customer Portal and Feedback.
Airfocus have a similar feature with their Feedback Management tool.
Jira Product Discovery also offers similar functionalities.
Still, more alignment can't hurt. Here's to prioritising the right features via Linear!
