Worldwide product job market

Worldwide product job market (October 2024)

In October 2024, worldwide market for product roles rose by 4.41% MoM.

‘Product manager’ roles lead the way, accounting for about 60% of the total available roles. ‘Senior product manager’ is a distant second (4,935 jobs) and ‘Product designer’ third (4,183 jobs).

The key movements in October have been:

  • Product designer roles have increased by 8.17% MoM.

  • CPO roles have declined by 15% MoM.

  • Senior product manager roles have increased by 11.3% MOM.

Remote vs. on-site vs. hybrid product jobs

Remote, on-site, and hybrid product roles (October 2024)

After two consecutive down months, remote product roles have finally seen an increase of 3.34% (from 8,300 to 8,577 open roles).

Hybrid roles have seen the largest hike, with a fresh 529 new roles available in October compared to September.

On-site roles still take the lion’s share of the market at 51.14%.

  • After a few months of decline, the ‘Product management’ trend is taking a dramatic plunge down to 53.

  • After two months of decline, remote product roles are on the rise again.

  • Latin America has seen the most dramatic MoM rise in available product jobs.

  • Senior product manager roles have had the largest rise MoM.

  • EMEA is the only region with fewer available product roles MoM.

  • Remote jobs for Group Product Manager roles have risen from 31 to 44.
